Scope of Service

WirkSam is a free, non-commercial platform for coordinating volunteer rosters for church events and community service. By creating an account and using the platform, you agree to these terms.

Your Account

  • You need to create an account with your email address and a password to use WirkSam.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
  • You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
  • Depending on how this site is set up, a new account may need an invitation or an administrator's approval before it can be used. An account on its own does not give access to any event: an event's organisers invite you, or you ask to join a public event. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

Acceptable Use

When using WirkSam, you agree to:

  • Use the platform only for its intended purpose of volunteer duty scheduling.
  • Be respectful to other users and organisers.
  • Honor your booked duty shifts or cancel in a timely manner if you cannot attend.
  • Not attempt to manipulate, overload, or exploit the platform.

Bookings & Cancellations

When you book a duty shift, you commit to being available at the scheduled time and place. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your booking as early as possible so the shift can be filled by someone else. Organisers and administrators may cancel or reassign bookings if necessary.

Service Availability

WirkSam is provided as-is, without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. We strive to keep the platform running reliably, but maintenance windows, outages, or changes may occur. We will try to communicate planned downtime in advance.

Limitation of Liability

WirkSam is a free, volunteer-run project. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the platform, including but not limited to missed shifts, scheduling conflicts, or data loss. Use the platform at your own discretion.

Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your settings page. All your personal data and bookings will be permanently removed. We reserve the right to deactivate or remove accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of WirkSam after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
